Description of Work:
This 1000 ft long mural wraps the circumference of the Richmond Cultural Centre in a frieze design that evolves through four seasons. Artist Statement:
The artists’ concept for the mural is layered. The mural includes both formalistic abstract
passages, as well as specific and recognizable imagery. Portraying the four seasons,
the artists aim was to create subtle transitions throughout. North/winter, East/spring,
South/summer and West/fall.
