Description of Work:
Wind Flowers are a series of 13 flexible objects situated in a sculptural sub-urban landscape.
The installation serves as a gateway to Richmond, and suggests this boundary is soft and
multiple.

Artist Statement:
Wind Flowers asks what it means to ‘arrive’ and to ‘depart’ – either as a resident (leaving and
returning home) or as a visitor (arriving at an unfamiliar place and leaving having become
familiar). These questions are explored in relation to domesticity, vulnerability, protection and
attraction.
