A stone amphitheatre is set into an area of raised earth. Near the stone stage are four wooden obelisks each marked with a Chinese character. Other posts with rainbow-coloured silhouettes of children mark pathways to the amphitheatre.

Artist Statement:
The "Cambie Community Gathering Place" – a model of cooperation between community members and the City – is a popular gathering place for the whole community. It is host to summer concerts and community events. A group of volunteers maintain it annually in preparation for warm weather activities. The amphitheatre provides seating for many events and the directional art decorated gateways lead the community into the park from all directions.
