Description of Work:
Words from the community are sandblasted into the stones, boulders, pavers, stepping stones and slabs: fragments of personal stories overlaid on the park.
"Lulu, a Memory Garden" is a story. It is a story about the park’s past and about people’s experiences of gardens. The park has been renamed Paulik Gardens Neighbourhood Park to recognize the Paulik Family, the former owners of the large ornamental gardens and woodlot. Ed Paulik, who grew up on this land, took care of the park for many years.
