Description of Work:
The 25 mosaic panels installed along the exterior of the South Arm Community (north & west walls) depict flowers, leaves, birds and insects. On the upper wall of the building are larger mosaics depicting “the community in motion”.
Artist Statement:
The goals of this project were to create a public work that forms a backdrop to the South Arm Community Centre and to express the diverse range of activities and experiences that reflect the issues and ideas relevant to the people who live in the area.
