Digital print reproduction of an original acrylic landscape painting.
Artist Statement:
Martin's subjects vary from landscapes and florals to dreamscapes. There is always something haunting in the work and a sense of being lost or a forgotten memory. Even a flower alone on a dark background has faint images of what might lay ahead. The work can best be described as liminal. Mixing of colour is limited, but instead colours are layered one color over the other to get a more luminous effect.
