Pollinator Pasture at Bridgeport Industrial Park

Bridgeport Industrial Park is a 2.6 acre park. It has been transformed into a wild flower meadow promoting ecological principles embedded in the City of Richmond’s Ecological Network Management Strategy, including the adjacent Bath Slough corridor. Activities: Join in the Pollinator Pasture Picnic! Tour Richmond’s first ever pollinator pasture designed for native pollinator species. Bring a picnic to enjoy the “buzz” in the park and an afternoon full of community activities. Learn about native pollinator species, native bee habitats and how you can help by becoming a citizen scientist. Please note: Parking is available at the Cambie Community Centre. The Pollinator Pasture is a short walk on the Bath Slough Trail, accessed on the north side of Cambie Road.

Nanaksar Gursikh Temple

Feel the warmth and community of this architecturally stunning temple. For twenty-four hours a day since opening in 1984, Nanaksar Gursikh Temple has welcomed people of all cultures and religions with continuous prayer and Langar (traditional vegetarian Punjabi food) prepared and served by volunteers. Activities: Guided tours every half hour, including a walk-through of the inner sanctuary where visitors can observe the reading of the holy Sikh scriptures. Langar served for free throughout the day.
