First Floor – Richmond Cultural Centre
Expand your horizons at Richmond Public Library and enjoy a diverse collection of books, eBooks, movies, newspapers and magazines. With free programs and resources for all ages, reading lounges and study spaces, everyone is welcome. Activities: Follow a book’s journey through the public library system with an interactive behind the scenes 60 minute tour. The tour includes the library’s Launchpad and 3D printers, where you can meet the friendly robot Dash and explore its programmable apps. Tours at 11 am and 1 pm.
Richmond Art Gallery
First Floor – Richmond Cultural Centre
The only public gallery in Richmond, the Richmond Art Gallery is dedicated to promoting dialogue among diverse communities on challenging ideas and issues of today as expressed through local, national and international contemporary art. Activities: Experience the gallery’s current exhibition, “Lyse Lemieux: A GIRL'S GOTTA DO WHAT A GIRL'S GOTTA DO” with tours every 30 minutes between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. Tours available in Mandarin or English. 画廊旅游的普通话和英语.
Richmond Media Lab

The Richmond Media Lab is equipped for experimental study in media and is the place to access media technology. Activities: Participate in an interactive “Frankenstory” media arts activity and meet members of the Richmond Youth Media Program (Saturday) and Cinevolution Media Arts (Sunday).
Rooftop Garden
Second Floor – Richmond Cultural Centre
Take a moment to unwind on the Rooftop Garden on the second floor of the Cultural Centre. This inviting oasis is the urban cousin of Terra Nova. Formerly a large expanse of concrete, it was transformed into a green space in 2012. Activities: The garden is open for self-exploration.

Fabric Arts Studio
Second Floor – Richmond Cultural Centre
The Textile Arts Guild of Richmond and the Richmond Weavers and Spinners Guild share the Fabric Arts Studio. Activities: The two groups will showcase their creations and demonstrate the art of quilting, wearable art, doll making, weaving and spinning. Visitors are invited to try weaving and spinning.

Learn about the art of pottery and ceramics with the Richmond Potters Club, a non-profit group formed in 1969. The club teaches adult pottery and ceramic classes and promotes the importance of the arts in the community. Activities: Meet club members. Watch demonstrations of hand building and pottery wheels.

Lapidary Studio

A founding member of the Richmond Cultural Centre, this family oriented club is dedicated to the preservation of the art of lapidary and silversmithing, including the collection of rocks and minerals. Activities: Watch demonstrations of rock identification, lapidary work, silversmithing and wire wrapping.
Baha’i Faith in Richmond

Visit and share your spiritual journey with members of Richmond’s Baha’i faith. Participate and assist in mutually meaningful conversations to build a more harmonious world. Activities: Displays and children’s craft activities. Children’s sing-a-long on the half hour. Twitter activity: #PhotoDevoDORich encourages people during Doors Open to send in photos showing examples of Richmond’s daily devotional life.
Minoru Chapel

Known locally as "the place to get married", this 1891chapel welcomes people from all backgrounds and faiths and invites visitors to explore its warm and charming interior. Minoru Chapel features beautifully restored stained glass windows, a traditional wedding bell and hand-crafted wooden pews. Outside the chapel, picturesque gardens and walking paths offer a peaceful respite in the busy city. Activity: Open for tours.

Share in the inspirational stories and successes with the Richmond Caring Place. The Caring Place is a home for 12 non-profit agencies providing family counseling, youth and single parent outreach as well as health information and childcare to the Richmond community. Activities: Discussion of the Caring Place's services, mission and successes. Enjoy free ice-cream.
Richmond Community Peace Labyrinth
7260 St. Alban's Road

Find inner balance, solace and personal insight by walking this replica of the ancient labyrinth at Chartres Cathedral in France. Globally, labyrinths are used in celebrations, uniting communities and supporting mental health. Activities: Knowledgeable guides explain labyrinth history, protocol and assist visitors in walking the labyrinth.
Richmond Family Place

Play, learn, share parenting ideas and make friends. Open to all Richmond families with children 0-12 years of age, Richmond Family Place is a multi-service family resource program. These services work together to provide families with activities and resources to support children in reaching their full potential. Come by car or take the 401 or 404 bus. Activities: Tours of different play stations, both indoors and outdoors.
Paulik Park
7620 Heather Street
A central Richmond gem since 2005, the park integrates elements from the area’s past including a commercial operation that once sold water plants and a blueberry field. The south end of the garden features a coniferous forest and a large perennial garden.
Activities: Gardeners on-site lead tours and conduct workshops on planting and soil management.
Vancouver International Buddhist Progress Society

VIBPS was established in 1998 and is one of the 200 branches of Fo Guang Shan Temples. The temple features a Buddha hall, teahouse, bookstore, meditation hall and library. It aims to promote Buddhist teachings through cultural, educational, charitable programs and Buddhist practice. Activities: Displays and tours including meditation, Chinese tea serving, Chinese calligraphy and painting demonstrations on Saturday and Sunday. Sunday Activity: 10 am–12 pm Dharma service.
