A snapshot of Richmond’s growth and development returns online in 2021

04 October 2021

The City of Richmond’s City Snapshots: Planning for Growth and Development returns for the third year, online, to provide a glimpse of a number of City initiatives helping to ensure Richmond is a thriving place to live, work and do business now and for generations to come.

City Snapshots: Planning for Growth and Development is available on LetsTalkRichmond.ca from Monday, October 4 to Sunday, October 24, 2021. It gives an overview of initiatives in four City department sections – planning and development, transportation, affordable housing, and sustainability. Each department section offers an opportunity to submit questions or comments.

Under each of the departments, the public will discover a variety of topics such as updates on housing and agricultural land policies, transportation improvements, and ongoing efforts to address the climate emergency. Visitors can also view City policies and plans. All the information provided, and more, helps guide ongoing and future development and change in Richmond.

Feedback received will be shared with City Council in late 2021. Future City Snapshots are planned for 2022.
