Learn to Skate Instructors

The Richmond Arenas Community Association offers a variety of skating lesson programs for participants of all ages and abilities. We are seeking enthusiastic, energetic individuals who have a passion for teaching skating to children, adults and the youth in our community.

You will be responsible for planning, organizing and delivering high quality, safe and stimulating skating lessons for all levels of participants. Other responsibilities include: completing skating evaluations and providing a high level of front line customer service including greeting and engaging participants. The successful candidates will have an opportunity to work a variety of part-time daytime, evening and weekend shifts at both the Richmond Ice Centre and Minoru Arenas.

We want to hear from you, if you have:
Previous skating instruction or coaching experience.
Outstanding customer service skills in dealing with varied age groups.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a culturally diverse community setting.
Demonstrated effective communication skills.
Standard First Aid and CPR C Certification.

Compensation and Benefits
$18.12 per hour plus an additional 4% in lieu of vacation.
