Council Receives Group Home Task Force Report
The Task Forces final report and recommendations were considered by the General Purposes Committee of Richmond City Council at its regular meeting on Monday, November 19, 2001. The Task Force recommended a comprehensive new policy for governing the location of group homes with 7 to 10 persons in care within the City of Richmond

The Group Home Task Force, a 10-member working group, was appointed by Richmond City Council in April, 2001 with a mandate to recommend a new policy for group homes with 7 - 10 persons in care. The Task Forces recommendations were adopted after extensive review of the issue and consultation with the public.
