Materials Accepted
The City Recycling Depot accepts the materials listed below. For many of the materials not accepted at the City Depot, this web site lists recycling or disposal options under "Household Hazardous Wastes" or under "Restricted Materials" or "Frequently Asked Questions."

The depot is also a collection site for gasoline, flammable liquids, fluorescent lamps, paints, pesticides, small appliances and solvents.  Please visit Product Care site for a list of accepted items.

Drop-off Limit and Charges:
Richmond residents can drop off one cubic yard free.  Charge of $20.00 per cubic yard if over limit.  See below *** for more information.
Commercial operators are charged $20.00 per cubic yard.

***Yard & Garden Trimmings Drop-Off
Richmond residents who deliver yard trimmings in a car, station wagon or mini-van in amounts of less than one cubic yard will not be charged a fee. There will be a charge of $20.00 per cubic yard if over limit.  Please be ready to show identification as proof of residency. 

Commercial operators will be charged $20 per cubic yard.

Fees can be paid by cash, credit card or debit card.

Richmond residents may also dispose of yard trimmings free of charge at Ecowaste on Triangle Road, off the foot of No. 6 Road. Please be prepared to show identification as proof that you live in Richmond.
