Preparing Garbage for Collection
Loose garbage must be securely packed in plastic bags. This includes ashes, kitty litter, disposable diapers, vacuum cleaner sweepings, and other loose household garbage.
7:30 a.m. - new start time for collection effective April 2010
All garbage, recycling, food scraps & yard trimmings items must be placed at curb side, within three feet of the curb, before 7:30 a.m. on collection day. Please do not place receptacles or other items on the road.
Please don't litter.
To reduce litter and damage by animals, place bags and other garbage in plastic cans wherever possible. Rotting garbage must be packed in plastic bags and then placed in cans with the lids secured. Loose plastic bags must not rip when lifted.
Residents are responsible for cleaning up any loose materials that have been scattered over the ground by animals, wind or vandalism.
