Portable Drinking Fountains

Portable Drinking Fountains
Richmond’s Water Services section is proud to maintain several portable drinking fountains that are used at many community events to provide the public with potable tap water and to promote tap water usage as an alternative to bottled water consumption. Samples are tested upon installation ensuring high-quality for the public to enjoy. The public is encouraged to use these stations; to have a drink or refill water bottles.

The treatment trailer is capable of producing 55,000 litres of potable water per day from non-potable sources such as the Fraser River. It is maintained and continuously tested by Water Services staff to ensure that the water is safe to serve Richmond residents in an emergency situation.
