Individual and Community Action
Through its public processes, advisory committees, and other means, the City provides numerous opportunities for local residents to have a voice in decisions affecting the future social health and sustainability of the community. Indeed, the City actively encourages and facilitates such citizen involvement. It recognizes that efforts to establish a socially sustainable community must be collaborative and inclusive, involving a shared commitment amongst the City, citizens, other levels of government, and external partners to succeed.
