Severe Weather
High winds, heavy rain, hail, thunderstorms, and snow storms can develop quickly and hit hard, posing a threat to life and property. Since the weather cannot be changed the problems cannot be prevented, however, some damage can be avoided or reduced if you take some simple precautions. See the Severe Storms booklet issued by the Government of Canada to help you prepare for severe weather.
