Prevention, Preparedness, and Response are the key components of service delivery. They work on the underlying principle that safety is everyone’s responsibility.
The City’s primary public safety providers are Police, Fire-Rescue, Emergency Preparedness, and Community Bylaws. They work in partnership with other City departments and local and provincial agencies to identify needs and provide services in Richmond.
We invite you to browse the pages of this section of the web site to learn more about the services they provide and to find out how you can make an active contribution to your personal safety and the safety of your family, friends and neighbours.
