Richmond Fire-Rescue Safety Crew
The Richmond Fire Department Safety Crew was established to educate the community on fire and life safety through characterization, music, and a variety of other entertainment forms and to help further the goals of Richmond Fire-Rescue and the City of Richmond in making our City a safer place to live.

The Safety Crew is available to perform for school groups and community events. To request an appearance by the Safety Crew at your school or event please call 604-278-5131.
Background
The Safety Crew was originally formed in 1992 as the “2 Life Safety Crew.” The group performed for six years before being disbanded due to a lack of resources. The Safety Crew was revived in 2002, and did their first performance at Richmond Fire-Rescue’s 2002 Open House.
