South Dyke Trail
Starting at the foot of No. 2 Road, this is a popular cycling and walking route along the river in a predominantly agricultural area. Dyke Road provides easy access to off-road trails and parking areas along the waterfront and eventually links to the interior Horseshoe Slough and Shell Road Trails.
The Finn Road Trail is considered part of this overall area and provides a change of scenery with a rural, interior link between No. 3 Road and Gilbert Road. Please see the South Dyke Trail map for this trail location.
7. Gilbert Beach
A small sandy beach on the banks of the Fraser River.
8. London Heritage Farm
A 4 acre restored circa 1906 farmhouse with a barn, gardens and displays situated across the road from sandy beaches and marshes. Saturday and Sunday afternoon tea served. Washrooms, picnic tables and parking available.
9. No. 3 Road Sports Fishing Pier
Fishing pier with panoramic views of the Fraser River, Ladner, Mt. Baker and river traffic. Parking and washrooms available.
10. Dogs Off-Leash Park
A park where responsible dog owners can exercise their dogs off-leash. Whimsical public art installation the "Dog Party" by Michael Swayne, parking and washrooms also available. For more information, please see Dogs Off-Leash Areas.
11. Finn Slough
A historic slough settlement with old buildings and homes on piles in a marsh habitat setting. Please respect the residents' privacy when in this area.
12. Horseshoe Slough
