Programs and Events

Public Programs
Public programs for all ages are offered year-round. See Program Registration to register online for scheduled programs and refer to the Recreation and Culture Guide for details about programs and information about services, events and drop in programs that do not require registration. Call 604-718-6188 for more information.

School Programs
Each year over 5,600 children are introduced to the wonders of nature through the School Programs offered by the Richmond Nature Park Society. Elementary teachers, students and their parents from throughout the Lower Mainland attend these programs.

Currently, 11 different programs are offered throughout the school year. These programs are led by a team of School Program Volunteers trained to present and share natural history with children.

Registration begins during the last week of August for the upcoming year. To register, or for more information on school programs, please contact the Nature Park at 604-718-6188 or nature@richmond.ca
