Program Information
A wide variety of programs and services are offered at Thompson Community Centre. Visit Program Registration to register online and see the Recreation and Culture Guide for a full list of programs, services, events and drop-in programs that do not require registration.

Thompson offers a variety of interest programs for seniors (many of which are open to adults of all ages) including learning to speak Spanish, surf the Internet, learn to line dance, practice English or participate in trips through the Lower Mainland.

Drop-In programs
Arthritis Education and Support: 3rd Thursday of every month at 7:15 p.m.
Ballroom Dance and Social: 1st Friday of every month 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Chinese Senior Circle:
Tuesdays 11:15 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Craft Group: Thursdays 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., no experience necessary.
Line Dancing: Wednesdays 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
Luk Tung Kuen: Weekdays at 8:00 a.m.
Wii Wednesday: Wednesdays 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Book Club: 2nd Monday of every month 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Mah-jong: 1st Sunday of every month 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Nordic Pole walking: Mondays 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Wellness Clinics: 4th Thursday of every month 9:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Have your blood pressure read, acquire health and resource information. Bookings available for manicures, pedicures, relexology, reikki, and healing touch. Call for details.Thompson 55+ photo
