Minoru Sports Pavilion Hall
Minoru Community Park - 7191 Granville Ave
- Maximum capacity 160 with chairs in a theatre style or 120 with chairs and tables
- Includes tables, chairs, and kitchen facilities
Minoru Fitness Centre is located in the Minoru Sport Pavilion in Minoru Park. The pavilion facilities include a large multi-purpose room (upper hall), two full kitchens, change rooms, showers and office space.
In addition to a variety of other recreation facilities, Minoru Park also has a 400 metre running track, high jump, long jump, discus area, soccer/football/cricket fields, fitness circuit, public tennis courts, lawn bowling and walking paths through Pierre Pond Garden.

Brighouse Park Meeting Rooms
Brighouse Park - 7840 Granville Ave
- Room A – Maximum Capacity: 27
- Room B – Maximum Capacity: 17
- Room C – Maximum Capacity: 17
Located south of City Hall, Brighouse Park is available for meetings. There are two rooms that hold up to 17 people and one that holds up to 27 people. This is a great place to hold a meeting away from your work place. Bookings can be made for meetings, workshops and training only. All rooms include tables, chairs, sink (no dishes).

McDonald Beach Boat Launch
Yearly passes for McDonald Beach boat launching are available to Richmond residents. There is also a 50% discount on yearly passes to Richmond Seniors (60 years and over). To apply for a pass contact the City Bylaws department at 604-276-4284.
Playing Field Reservations
Groups planning to use outdoor sports facilities must obtain a field use permit. Regular sports groups should contact their local scheduler for times and availability. For more information please visit the Sport Field Bookings page.
King George Picnic Area
King George Park - 4111 Jacombs Road (Cambie and No. 5 Rd)

Special Event Stage Rental
The City of Richmond has purchased a new stage that is available for rent for public events. The City has hired Briere Production Group for set-up and tear-down of the City stage. Please contact Briere directly at 604-299-1046 for more information.

The Richmond School District encourages community use of Board-owned facilities by both the general public and City affiliated groups. Facilities are available for classes, meetings, children's birthday parties, and sports events.
Important Information for all user groups: Groups requiring a specific date or dates for a special event must submit a letter to the Secretary Treasurer of the Richmond School District six months in advance.
