Discovery Days
Richmond Nature Park
Date: Sundays, July 6 - August 31
Time: 2:00pm - 3:00pm
Led by a naturalist, learn some secrets of the bog, meet wild animals and discover treasures from the teaching collection in the Nature House. Not offered during events. Call 604-718-6188 for confirmation.

Ponies in the Parkpony park
Richmond Nature Park
Date: Saturday, August 23
Time: 11:00am - 4:00pm
Giddy up on over to the Nature Park for a pony ride through the woods. Suitable for children 4-12 years. Tickets are available on a first come first serve basis on event day only. Cash only.
$10 per ride

Bugs and More

Intrigued by creepy, crawly critters like bugs and spiders? This show features local and exotic specimens and specialists to provide hands on activities and interactive displays.

Stock up on fresh cranberries at the Richmond Nature Park Society's annual cranberry sale. Proceeds support educational and public programs in the park.

Wild Things

Time: 5:30pm - 8:30pm
Follow a trail of jack-o'-lanterns and meet the creatures that make Halloween fun and a little bit scary! An adult must accompany children.

Mushroom Show

The Vancouver Mycological Society presents a show of local autumn fungi. Bring mystery mushrooms for identification.
