Empire Centre Vandalism Hurtful to Community

There has been much public outcry over recent acts of vandalism at Empire Center in Richmond. The Richmond RCMP is currently investigating the incident and has arrested one of the suspects.
 
“I am pleased the Richmond RCMP has proceeded quickly to apprehend one of the suspects in this disgraceful act of vandalism,” says Richmond Mayor Malcolm Brodie. “The messages contained in the vandalism are hurtful and disrespectful to all members of the community. It goes against our community values of respecting all individuals equally.”
