Remembering Our Veterans - Ceremonies at City Hall

Richmond’s veterans organizations invite the community to attend this year’s Remembrance Day Cenotaph Ceremonies and parade on Wednesday, November 11 at Richmond City Hall, 6911 No. 3 Road.

The parade includes a colour party, Royal Canadian Legion, Army, Navy and Air Force Veterans Association members, cadets, and representation from other service organizations.

Marching units will proceed along Granville Avenue to the Cenotaph located on No. 3 Road on the East side of City Hall. Official ceremonies at the Cenotaph will begin at 10:40 a.m.

Following completion of the Cenotaph ceremonies, the marching units will go West on Granville Avenue from the Cenotaph to Minoru Pavilion.

Portions of No. 3 Road, near City Hall, will be closed for approximately two and a half hours to facilitate the event and there will be minimal temporary traffic disruption along Granville Avenue and Minoru Boulevard during the post ceremony parade.
