The Richmond O Zone Celebration Site Opens February 12

The O Zone is Richmond's Official Celebration Site of the 2010 Winter Games.

The biggest celebration site of the 2010 Olympic Winter Games is in the heart of Richmond City Centre, just minutes from the new Canada Line, enter from Richmond City Hall into Minoru Park.


The O Zone is where you can be part of a real Olympic Games experience, with thousands of your closest friends, cheering on Canada’s athletes, exploring cool stuff, and rocking to some of the hottest young bands in Canada.

Dates: Feb 12, 2010 - Feb 28, 2010
Times: Monday - Friday 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Saturday - Sunday 12:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Location: Minoru Park, 7191 Granville Avenue, Richmond

World-class entertainment from "Canada's national treasure", the Canadian Tenors plus Taiwanese pop sensation F.I.R. Other bands like Our Lady Peace, Hawksley Workman, Bedouin Soundclash, Tokyo Police Club and Wintersleep will also headline. Theme nights saluting Canada’s diverse cultures and regions from World Beat rhythms and South Asian dance and music to Pan Northern sounds from above the Arctic Circle. There’s something for everyone, and for all ages.
