15 July 2010

Pursuant to Section 24 of the Community Charter:

Richmond Centre for Disability has applied for an interest free loan of $25,000 from the Social Financial Hardship Assistance Fund as interim financing due to a cash shortage as a result of delays in receiving funding from external funding agencies.

The Richmond Centre for Disability must repay the $25,000 to the City’s Social Financial Hardship Assistance Fund six months after the advance of the loan.

A Council decision on this matter is anticipated to be made at the Regular Open Council meeting scheduled for 7:00 pm on Monday July 26, 2010 in the Council Chambers at Richmond City Hall.
