Water Turbidity Warning

2 November 2009

Due to a recent heavy rainfall over the north shore watersheds, residents may notice a increased turbidity in the drinking water supply. The City of Richmond monitors turbidity at intake points from the Metro Vancouver distribution system.

To date there have been very minimal turbidity increases and the readings in Richmond are well within acceptable limits. Staff are monitoring the situation continuously.
