Volunteer Work Group Needed for Richmond’s Multi-Family Water Meter Program - We’d Like Your Input
07 May 2009The City of Richmond will be considering expressions of interest from persons who wish to volunteer and provide feedback on Richmond’s multi-family water metering program.
Subject to Council approval, the anticipated major work items of the work group are to:
- identify options for establishing and expanding the multi-family water meter program
- hold public meetings (as required) to hear community concerns and suggested solutions regarding multi-family water metering issues
- evaluate public concerns and develop options and strategies to address the concerns
- possibly present to Council the work group’s final recommendations regarding multi-family water metering
Work group members are sought from the following two categories:
- Richmond multi-family residents (3 members)
- Other stakeholders (2 members)
These are voluntary positions with no remuneration and are for a term to expire on approximately August 31, 2009.
Interested applicants are invited to submit a brief letter of interest, identifying the above category they are applying for and outlining their reasons for wishing to serve on the work group.
