No Swimming Advisory at Garry Point Park
29 July 2009Richmond Public Health has advised that swimming at Garry Point Park beaches is unsafe due to an elevated fecal coliform count in the water.
Swimmers may encounter gastrointestinal illnesses from exposure to this contaminated water.
Warning signs have been posted at major beach access points along the south edge of Garry Point Park.
The no swimming advisory remains in effect until further notice.
