Richmond Children’s Arts Festival - Learn and Laugh on Feb. 19 & 20

Bring your kids to the first annual Richmond Children's Arts Festival on February 19 and 20 at the Richmond Arts Centre, 180-7700 Minoru Gate.

This festival is a unique opportunity for elementary school kids to participate in hands-on interactive workshops lead by professional performers and artists.

Laugh with the Vancouver Theatre Sports League and the Tickle Trunk Players, try Taiko and African drumming, get on stage with Gateway Academy actors, learn to spin records with local DJ's, and much more.

The cost is $10.00 per day per child for any or all of the day’s activities. A participatory parade at 9:00 a.m. each morning will kick off the festivities in style.

Please help make this a green event by bringing a litterless lunch and by walking, riding, strolling or bussing to the festival. There is free valet bike and stroller parking. Car parking is limited.
