Civic Engagement Forum - Give Your Thoughts on Community Issues
24 April 2009The Civic Engagement Society, with support from the Richmond Intercultural Advisory Committee, invites you to give your thoughts on community issues and concerns at a civic engagement forum:
With a provincial election approaching on May 12, the Civic Education Society and Richmond Intercultural Advisory Committee are promoting civic engagement and a sense of belonging. Come out and discuss issues that are important to you.
Date: Wednesday, April 29, 2009 Time: 7:00 p.m. Location: Richmond City Hall, 6911 No. 3 Road
Council ChambersAdmission: Free. Advance registration is not required
The dialogue will be conducted using the "Conversation Circle," a method that allows everyone who wishes to speak an opportunity to express their views. Issues will be recorded and then submitted to the three levels of the Government, as they apply.
