BC Seniors Games Volunteers Still Needed

From September 16-19, British Columbians aged 55+ have the opportunity to compete in 29 sport and recreational events in Richmond at the 2009 BC Seniors Games. The Games celebrate athletic achievement and camaraderie and promote healthy active lifestyles for BC’s seniors.

Volunteers of all ages are needed to help with the Games and provide BC seniors with a unique once-in-a-lifetime experience.

The following volunteer positions still need to be filled:
  • courtesy car drivers (age 25+, clean driver’s abstract, Class 4 or better, Class 5)
  • parking attendants
  • buffet banquet servers
  • chair/table/tent/sponsor signage sent-up at sport venues.
