Kick Off the Arrival of Summer with Recreation

19 June 2008

Richmond Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services makes it easy for you to register for summer programs and maintain a healthy and active lifestyle.

Registration for the year’s busiest season of parks, recreation and cultural programming has begun at local community facilities. A wide variety of classes are available for all ages and levels, including daycamps, general interest programs, swimming, fitness classes, arts, culture and heritage programs, as well as a number of special events.

Customers can register at their convenience by choosing one of four methods:
  • internet
  • touch tone phone
  • through the Registration Call Centre
  • in-person at any civic facility
To register online, visit the City’s website at www.richmond.ca and click on the Recreation Registration button on the home page. Touch tone users can register anytime by phoning 604-276-4300 and following the voice prompts. Customers can also sign up for programs through the City’s Registration Call Centre by dialing 604-276-4300, Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. and pressing “3” for a Customer Service Agent.

To register by internet or touch tone phone, you will need a Family PIN and Client Number and your Visa or Mastercard number and expiry date. You will also need the Class Number and Community Code from the Recreation & Culture Guide.

The popular Recreation & Culture Guide is available online, at all civic facilities and local Safeway and Save On Foods stores.
