Make Your Mark on Olympic History
07 January 2008Make your mark on Olympic history this weekend by adding your signature to the final section of the Richmond Oval’s unique pine beetle wood roof.
The Richmond Oval will be home to speed skating for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. The final section of the Oval’s unique wood wave roof will be raised into place later this month in a special ceremony. But, before it is installed, everyone is invited to share in this historic moment by putting their mark on the Oval.
Two special public signing opportunities take place.
In addition to the roof signing, there will be fun for the whole family with live entertainment, an opportunity to meet Olympic athletes and a visit by the popular Vancouver 2010 mascots.

Meet swimmer Donovan Tildesley, a four-time Paralympic medallist and two-time world record holder, or 2006 Olympian and freestyle moguls skier Chris Wong.
