Plan to Stay Active During the Fall and Winter Months
08 August 2008The anticipated registration for the City of Richmond’s fall and winter season of parks, recreation and cultural programming has begun at local community facilities, with over 350 classes to choose from. The wide variety of classes, for all ages and levels, include skating, swimming, fitness classes, arts, culture and heritage programs and a large number of seasonal events.
Programs are offered at all times throughout the day in order to fit people’s busy schedules, making it easier to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle. Popular programs like swimming and dance are still available for registration and some brand new programs are being offered, such as the ‘Life Storybook Workshop’ for older adults or ‘Leadership - Level 2’ for youth.
Customers can register at their convenience by choosing one of four methods:
- Internet
- Touch Tone Phone
- through the Registration Call Centre
- In-Person at any civic facility
To register using the Internet or by Touch Tone Phone, you will need a Family PIN and Client Number and your Visa or MasterCard number and expiry date. You will also need the Class Number and Community Code from the Recreation & Culture Guide.
The popular Recreation & Culture Guide is available online or at all civic facilities, local Safeway and Save On Foods stores.
