Child Care Month - Celebrate the Care of Future Generations
08 May 2008The City of Richmond has proclaimed May as Child Care Month and during this time, we should all celebrate the important work of our early childhood educators and dedicated child care professionals.
Join the child care community at the annual Child Care Dinner:
A Mardi Gras theme will set the mood for a great evening of music, door prizes, delicious food and entertainment with renowned comedian Norman Foote.
Date: Tuesday, May 13, 2008 Time: 6:30 p.m. Location: River Rock Casino Resort - Whistler Ballroom, 8811 River Road Admission: $40.00 per person

The Richmond Child Care Development Advisory Committee and the City of Richmond will also be joining the festivities by hosting a Children’s Playfair:
Interactive activities for children of all ages will include art and crafts, music, drama and hip hop. Balloons, entertainment and snacks will round out this special event that is designed to inform parents about child care in Richmond and provide information on what to look for when searching for quality and affordable child care.
