Richmond Airport Noise Citizens Advisory Task Force

October 23, 2008

Task Force Takes Flight

The Richmond Airport Noise Citizens Advisory Task Force was formed in September 2008  to provide an ongoing  City forum for the discussion, consideration and co-ordination of aeronautical noise and aircraft flight path issues affecting the City of Richmond.

This Task Force began meeting monthly in September and plans to host a public meeting in early 2009 to hear Richmond residents’ concerns regarding airport and aircraft noise.

In advance of this meeting, residents are invited to submit their concerns to the City using an on-line feedback form at: www.richmond.ca/contact/feedback.htm. Please identify that your comments are to be relayed to the Airport Noise Task Force. Hard copies of the feedback form can also be obtained at City Hall, Customer Service, Monday – Friday, 8:15 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Task Force will consider your feedback in developing recommendations to Council to address the identified concerns

For more information on the Task Force please contact Joan Caravan at 604-276-4035 or joan.caravan@richmond.ca.
