Liquid and Solid Waste Management – Public Meetings

How should we manage our waste?

Every year, Metro Vancouver residents and businesses generate:
  • 440 billion litres of liquid waste
  • 3.6 million tonnes of garbage and recyclables (“solid waste”)

Throughout April and May 2008, Metro Vancouver will hold a series of public meetings across the region to hear your input and comments on the strategies for updating the Liquid Waste and Solid Waste Management Plans.

Metro Vancouver’s public meeting in Richmond will be held:

Date: Tuesday, April 15, 2008
Time: Registration: 6:00 - 6:30 p.m.
Public Meeting: 6:30 -9:00 p.m.
Location: Richmond Cultural Centre Lecture Hall
