Musical Expressions - Marq DeSouza
04 January 2008The Musical Expressions concert series, hosted by Richmond recording artist Cherelle Jardine, kicks of 2008 with a performance by Marq DeSouza on January 5.
The sounds of Marq DeSouza combine the precision of the singer/songwriter’s movements with the excitement of the purest guitar-based rock n' roll. DeSouza’s insightful writing is backed by a sound that is straight up – real, raw and full of musical twists and lyrical turns.
In his various incarnations, DeSouza has shared bills with such artists as Sir Bob Geldof, Sarah Harmer, Drive By Truckers, Ben Kweller, Martina Sorbara, Matthew Good and Nickelback.
