Wild Things Event

18 October 2007

Go for a Walk in the Haunted Forest
The Richmond Nature Park Society hosts the sixth annual Wild Things Event at Richmond Nature Park on Saturday, October 20 from 5:00 – 8:30 p.m.

This family friendly event features a walk through the “haunted” forest where brave souls encounter the Nature Park’s costumed forest creatures of the night.

Meet racoons, coyotes, squirrels, frogs, mice, owls and bats as they appear out of the magical dark forest to greet you, and visit with them along a trail of Jack-O-Lanterns and luminaries.

Children can learn about the Nature Park’s wildlife and their twilight world through the wild antics of these costumed creatures and other surprising inhabitants.

Don’t miss the thrills and chills of the haunted forest! Learn about the Nature Park’s nightlife. Join the fun and wear your own costume! Dress warm and be sure to bring a flashlight.

This event is suitable for young children accompanied by their parents and will take place rain or shine. Admission is $3 per child, $4 per adult or $10 for a family of four.
