Parade of Lights - Enjoy the Twinkling Light Display Out on the Water
05 December 2007The Richmond Yacht Club presents their annual Parade of Lights. Boats of all sizes will be parading between the Middle Arm and Dinsmore bridges on Saturday, December 15 and Sunday, December 16 from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. The best place to view the Parade is along the dyke, between the Dinsmore Bridge and Cambie Road.
While watching the Parade, enjoy cookies, hot chocolate and hot dogs at the Richmond Yacht Club, located at 7471 River Road. Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus will be there with music and singing. Donations of new unwrapped toys for the Richmond Christmas Fund are encouraged.
The Yacht Club, floats and boats are lit up every night for you to drive by and enjoy.
This free event is presented by the Richmond Yacht Club with their sponsors, the City Centre Community Association, the Richmond Review and the marine supply stores of Richmond.
