Halloween Fireworks - Celebrate Safely

Celebrate the festive spirit of Halloween at one of six professional fireworks displays in your community on Wednesday, October 31.

Richmond residents are encouraged to be safe this Halloween and attend one of the fireworks displays in their community as an alternative to private use of fireworks, which are restricted.

Fireworks Regulation Bylaw 7917 is in effect in Richmond and prohibits the possession, sale, purchase or ignition of any fireworks, of any kind, at any time in the City of Richmond, except with special permit. 

Community Bylaws Officers will be actively enforcing the bylaw. Persons found to be selling, igniting or in possession of fireworks are subject to fines of $1,000 under the bylaw.
