Rock to the Sounds of Kelly Brock at Britannia Heritage Shipyard
26 July 2007Put on your dancing shoes and rock to Kelly Brock at the Musical Expressions Summer Concert Series at Britannia Shipyard, happening this Saturday, July 28 at 6:30 p.m.
West Coast singer/songwriter Kelly Brock has been singing in and around the Lower Mainland for many years as a solo artist and with the fun-loving party band, Dr. Strangelove. She has recently released her fourth CD, Rebel Kind, on Pacific Music/Warner Music Canada and the first single, Cowboy Boots and Levis, has been moving up Canadian country radio charts. Many of her songs have been heard in a variety of film and television shows, including Smallville, Joan of Arcadia, Dawson’s Creek and the Chris Isaak Show. Brock also sings live background vocals with the popular 80’s band, Loverboy.
Musical Expressions Summer Concert Series at Britannia Shipyard is an eclectic monthly showcase of local performers, hosted by well-known Richmond musician, Cherelle Jardine. Concerts are free, so bring a blanket or chair and relax to the sounds of summer. The Britannia Heritage Shipyard is located in Steveston at 5180 Westwater Drive.
