Public Information Meeting - West Cambie Area Plan Update

The City of Richmond is hosting a public information meeting to inform the public and to answer questions on the proposed West Cambie Area Plan Update, Official Community Plan (OCP) Amendment Bylaw No. 8029, and associated Development Cost Charge (DCC) Amendment Bylaws Nos. 8031 and 8037. The meeting is being held:

In February 2004, the City of Richmond initiated an Area Plan review process for the West Cambie neighbourhood. Public open houses to discuss the development options concluded with a strong public consensus for a preferred option for the Alexandra Neighbourhood, which Council endorsed on March 29, 2005.
The West Cambie Area Plan Update OCP Bylaw No. 8029 is scheduled for Public Hearing on March 20, 2006.
At this time it is anticipated that DCC Bylaws Nos. 8031 and 8037 will be considered for second and third readings at the Monday, March 27, 2006 Council meeting.
