The City of Richmond Needs Your Input on Two Topics

Steveston Village Conservation Program
The Steveston Village Conservation Program Study is now underway. The purpose of the Study is to:

  • Summarize the vision and goals for the future of the Village that recognizes its unique character and heritage
  • Clarify Steveston Village's core heritage and non-heritage values and character defining elements
  • Develop policies and conservation techniques to care for the heritage and non-heritage values

Steveston Parking Improvement Ideas
Steveston Village is a popular destination for both local and regional visitors. To respond to the unique characteristics of visitor-related parking demand, the City has made recent parking improvements, such as new directional signage, and more are planned within the next 1-2 years

Find out about the planned parking improvements and give us your feedback on a number of ideas we have developed to address common concerns related to parking in the Village area, such as tour bus parking, loading zones, and parking supply.

Open houses to be held at the Steveston Community Centre (Multi-purpose Room) on:

  • Friday, July 28
    6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, July 29
    10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Please contact Terence Brunette in Policy Planning at 604.276.4279 or Joan Caravan in Transportation at 604.276.4035 for any questions or comments.
