Elementary School Always Sparkles

29 June 2006

RJ Tait Wins Contest
RJ Tait Elementary School recently won $1,000 for their school library. The Prize for the "My School Sparkles" contest was donated by Ecowaste Industries.

Stuart Somerville, the President of Ecowaste Industries was at the school on June 21 and presented the cheque to Bill Juhasz, the principal. RJ Tait Elementary School was judged to have the least amount of littering, graffiti and vandalism in the past year.

The goal of the “My School Sparkles Contest” is to help Richmond meet its vision of being the most appealing community in Canada by instilling a sense of community pride among our future generations.  We actively encourage all members of the community to help keep Richmond beautiful.
