Nature Comes To Light - A Holiday Celebration

The Kinsmen Club of Richmond, in partnership with the City of Richmond, the Richmond Firefighters Society, and the Richmond Nature Park, invite you to the 8th Annual "Nature Comes To Light” holiday celebration at Richmond Nature Park.

Nature is the theme, where over 150,000 lights illuminate the pond and highlight the whimsical antics of animals in winter. Warm up with hot chocolate while you enjoy the evening.
Entertainment will feature some of Richmond's most popular artists, including:
- Abby Swarz (Performing Sunday, December 09)
- The Voice Stream Choir (Performing Friday, December 15)
- Troy Shiewe (Performing Saturday, December 16)
- The Richmond Youth Concert Band (Performing Sunday, December 17)
- The McMath Band (Performing Monday, December 18)
- The McNair Jazz Band ((Performing Tuesday, December 19)
- Cherelle Jardine (Performing Wednesday, December 20)
- Upswing Quartet (Performing Thursday, December 21)
- Doug Smith (Performing Friday, December 22)
- Greg Meloche (Performing Saturday, December 23)
Nature Comes To Light opens Friday, December 8, 2006 and runs through to December 30 (closed December 24 and 25). Hours of operation are 5:30 - 9:30 p.m. nightly. Admission is by donation, with proceeds supporting multiple beneficiaries of the Kinsmen Club and Firefighters’ Society.
The Richmond Nature Park is located at 11851 Westminster Highway, between No. 5 Road and Shell Road.
