Deck Your Halls with Something From Lulu Arts: Shop in the City

07 December 2006

Rub shoulders with some of Canada’s best visual artists and see all their new works at “Lulu’s Holiday Hullabaloo”.

Date: Friday, December 15, 2006
Time: 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Location: Richmond Cultural Centre

Lulu Arts: Shop in the City will be hosting an evening filled with music, refreshments and the most drop-dead gorgeous pieces of pottery, glass, jewellery and paintings by some of our country’s finest artists.

“This is your opportunity to find something special for gift-giving and have money left over for a little something for yourself,” says Suzanne Greening, Arts Coordinator.

Feature artist, Pam Holl Hunt will have works on display. Hunt uses the medium of oil on canvas to convey her ideas. Nature as well geometry and architecture motivates and inspires her work. At the same time she is involved in exploring the idea of spatial depth as form and colour. Hunt has studied at Academie Julian and Atelier 17 in Paris as well as several years of painting and studying in London and Brussels before returning to Canada.
