It’s time to appreciate all the great images of our city from the City of Richmond’s annual Street Banner Contest. This year’s theme was Richmond in Focus, a celebration of places, activities and experiences that make Richmond unique.
The contest had over 400 entries this year! All entries were photographs, either digital or printed, reflecting one or more of the following topics:
- Cultural Diversity
- Gardens & Landscapes
- Great Places & Spaces
- Healthy Living & Wellness
- Outdoor Recreation & Play
- Nature & Environment
Come and see the top 100 entries, which will be on display:
Location: Richmond City Hall (in the cafeteria)
Date: November 14 – 26, 2006
Six to eight of those entries will become street banners and will proudly be displayed along Richmond’s gateways between March 2007 and March 2008.
